Martin Gierach
Martin is Devonate’s founder and leads a team of software engineers at Brooks Macdonald. He connects commercial priorities with solution architecture, engineering delivery and the operation of business-critical software.
His experience spans modernising legacy applications, connecting fragmented systems, developing cloud and data capabilities, and guiding applied AI programmes. The focus is practical: reduce manual work, improve access to information and build maintainable platforms that the business can control and evolve.
He combines technical leadership with hands-on knowledge of C#, .NET and Microsoft Azure, covering the decisions that take software from initial scope through to secure, supportable operation. For Devonate clients, this brings clearer technology choices, realistic delivery plans and close attention to long-term ownership and value.
His earlier career in investment management adds first-hand understanding of commercial risk, operational constraints and the decisions technology needs to support.
